About Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato, a Disney star on the rise, was born on August 20th, 1992 in Dallas, TX and began her career at the age of six on “Barney and Friends” as Angela with co-star and best friend Selena Gomez. Demi isn’t the only one in her family who has had camera time- her mother was a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader and country singer; her sister, Dallas Lovato, is an actress as well. During most of Demi’s childhood she has won many talent competitions and has performed at huge events such as Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime show alongside LeeAnn Riymes!

Because of her totally crazy schedule Demi is homeschooled but she maintains close friendships with superstars the Jonas Brothers and has a channel on YouTube with actress Selena Gomez called “The Real Demi Lovato”. When asked how she and Selena became best friends Demi recalled “When I asked her to sit on my jacket and draw with crayons with me!” at the Barney and Friends auditions.

Demi has appeared as a guest star on shows such as “Prison Break” alongside super-cute main man Wenworth Miller, “Just Jordan” starring Little JJ and the “Split Ends” pilot. She also starred on the first season of the Disney short “As the Bell Rings”. Demi will be participating in the “Disney Channel Games 2008” and has just finished filming “Camp Rock”, a Disney movie featuring the Jonas Brothers. Pre-Production has just begun on the much-anticipated “Princess Protection Program,” which will feature Demi as a fugitive princess trying to find her way.

Demi loves to play the guitar, piano and drums to her favorite band “Paramore.” Her mom isn’t the only one blessed with a heavenly voice; Demi does voiceovers for national radio, Denny’s, Radica and Hasbro! She has written songs with the Jonas Brothers for her Debut Album Don’t Forget released last year.  Check back for more updates and Demi Lovato tickets as Demi becomes the next music superstar!
